First Meeting of 2014-15!

It’s September already. That means a new season of AAUW meetings, ideas, and reconnecting with friends — and, of course, our Welcome Back Dinner on October 8th! Our dinner will again be catered by Petrone’s of Melrose, offering garden salad, chicken & broccoli, marinara pasta, and some pretty amazing meatballs, plus we’ll have delicious desserts.

This year’s dinner includes something fun: The four women of Ladies First, each representing a different decade in life from their 30s to their 60s, will entertain us with their show, “What, No Tiara? The Real Lives of Women in Song.” Our thanks to Regina Lucas for generously donating this wonderful program to our Branch!

Please note our early start at 6:00PM to allow time for the program: Dinner will be served promptly at 6:30PM.

Come visit with friends after our summer break, hear about the programs being planned for the year, delight in the show, and enjoy the wonderful food. Feel free to bring a guest — or two! It will be a friendly, casual occasion, perfect for introducing a friend to AAUW.

Look for your invitation in the mail by September 8th or 9th. Please return it to Susan Murray with your check for $22 per person by September 22, 2014, so we have an accurate count for ordering food and drink. We look forward to seeing you all!
