AAUW February Auction Is Right Around The Corner!

auction_gavel Our next meeting is the biennial AAUW Auction, so it’s time to dust off your thinking caps and limber up your crafting hands! The meeting is just two days away, so we should all be thinking of goods and services we can donate to the auction.

The particulars: You can donate all kinds of goods and services, including handmade items, gift certificates, personal services (e.g., ride to the airport, garden planning), gift or seasonal items; you name it. We will be bidding on them live, and all monies will benefit the various funds and foundations of AAUW. Bring a guest, bring an auction donation, and, of course, bring your checkbooks! With Monique as our talented auctioneer, this evening is always full of fun and surprises.

The meeting is on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at 7PM at the First United Methodist Church, 645 Main Street, in Melrose, MA 02176. As always, guests are welcome!

We are a local branch of the National AAUW organization meeting monthly in Melrose, MA. Each meeting features a guest speaker offering presentations on a variety of topics including local authors, women or minority owned businesses, movie screenings, health and wellness, social issues, etc. Our meetings are open to the public and guests are always welcome.
