Program: Zentangle, What it is and how to create Zentangle art – Lynn Landes, CZT (Certified Zentangle Teacher

  • Zentangle presentation and workshop led by Lynn Landes, CZT (Certified Zentangle Teacher), has been practicing Zentangle for 12 years and has been teaching for three years. She’ll present us with an introductory lesson.  The Zentangle® Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.  As you use the Zentangle Method to create beautiful images, you likely will enjoy increased focus, creativity, self-confidence and an increased sense well-being. Studies have shown that creating using the Zentangle method has reduced anxiety and stress in all ages. We’ll get to experience for ourselves a bit of this “non-representational and unplanned” art done on small pieces of paper.

Melrose-Wakefield AAUW Branch

We are a local branch of the National AAUW organization meeting monthly in Melrose, MA. Each meeting features a guest speaker offering presentations on a variety of topics including local authors, women or minority owned businesses, movie screenings, health and wellness, social issues, etc. Our meetings are open to the public and guests are always welcome.
